Asst. Prof. Maja Stojanović, MD, PhD

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Maja Stojanović is a specialist in internal medicine and a subspecialist in allergy and clinical immunology. She is employed at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade, and works at the Clinic of Allergy and Immunology, University Clinical Center of Serbia, where she is engaged in both clinical and research activities. Her main areas of expertise include autoimmune diseases, autoinflammatory diseases, and primary immunodeficiencies. She focuses particularly on the diagnosis and therapeutic management of patients with rare diseases, including the development of new biomarkers and innovative therapeutic approaches.

She is the author and co-author of numerous scientific publications in international journals (ORCID: 0000-0003-4589-7344) and actively participates in the education of students and young physicians. She received a scholarship from the Lilić–Abinun Foundation (Newcastle University) and trained in the field of inborn errors of immunity at Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle and St James’s University Hospital in Leeds, United Kingdom.

Dr. Stojanović is a member of the European Society for Immunodeficiencies (ESID), the European Vasculitis Society (EUVAS), and the SLEuro Society. She is one of the founders and a member of the Board of Directors of the Serbian Lupus Group (SGL).
