Dr. Dragana Lazarević is a specialist in pediatrics, subspecialist in rheumatology, PhD, and Clinical Assistant at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Niš. She works at the University Clinical Center Niš, Clinic of Pediatrics, where she is engaged in both clinical and research activities. Her main areas of expertise include autoimmune and autoinflammatory diseases as well as primary immunodeficiencies. She focuses particularly on the diagnosis and therapeutic management of patients with rare diseases, including the development of new biomarkers and enabling innovative therapeutic approaches for their treatment.
Dr. Lazarević is the author and co-author of numerous scientific publications in international journals (ORCID: 0000-0001-8200-2859) and actively participates in the education of students and young physicians. She is a member of the European Society for Immunodeficiencies (ESID), the Pediatric Rheumatology European Society (PReS), and the Association of Rheumatologists of Serbia (URES).
