Jelena Ljubičić graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade, in 2022, where she was actively involved in research both at her home university and at the University of Lausanne (Switzerland) in the Laboratory of Immuno-Oncology at the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research.
After graduation, she worked at the Institute for Molecular Genetics and Genetic Engineering (IMGGI) in the Laboratory for Gene Regulation in Tumors. Since 2024, she has been employed at the Clinic of Allergy and Immunology, University Clinical Center of Serbia, where she is involved, among other activities, in the monitoring and treatment of patients with primary immunodeficiencies.
She actively participates in the education of high school students in the field of biomedical sciences at the Petnica Research Station, where she serves as a scientific associate. Additionally, Jelena is the youth representative of Serbia at the European Society for Immunodeficiencies (ESID).
