Dr. Gordana Petrović is a specialist in pediatrics and a subspecialist in allergy and clinical immunology. She is employed at the Institute for Health Protection of Mother and Child of Serbia “Dr. Vukan Čupić,” where she is engaged in both clinical and research work. Her main areas of expertise include autoimmune diseases, autoinflammatory diseases, and primary immunodeficiencies. She focuses particularly on the diagnosis and therapeutic management of patients with rare diseases, including the development of new biomarkers and enabling innovative therapeutic approaches for their treatment.
Dr. Petrović is the author and co-author of numerous scientific publications in international journals (ORCID: 0000-0001-9115-7481) and actively participates in the education of students and young physicians. She is a member of the European Society for Immunodeficiencies (ESID), the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI), and the Association of Rheumatologists of Serbia (URES).
